their May Gathering, Kirk Presbyterian Women honored Judy Rosenthal
as their 2011 Woman of Faith. This annual award is presented to
a woman whose daily life reveals exemplary Christian compassion
and service, not only within the church, but also in the community.
Judy and her husband, Bob, have been faithful members of the Kirk
since 1995. Besides cooking with the Greenhorns, Judy serves on
the Kirk Memorial Committee and coordinates Kirk memorial receptions.
She is also a Mission Committee member and liaison to Potter’s
Clay and Webb Center. Judy has been PW secretary for many years,
and she volunteers in the church office twice a month. Presbyterian Women also honored Dotty Rector, 2010-2011 PW moderator, with the PW Honorary Life Membership Award. Former moderator Sue Thayer presented Dotty with a special pin which Sue wore this year before passing it along to Dotty. Next year Dotty will present it to the new recipient. |
