2010 "Bring a Friend" Saturday

Kirk members invited friends and neighbors to the Saturday informal worship service on Sept. 25. Ninety-two were present to hear the Rev. Trent's inspiring message, "Come Before Winter" emphasizing we should not procrastinate about mending relationships and letting people know we care. A pizza dinner was served afterward with a variety of entertaining acts performed by Kirk members.
Yvonne Johnson and Jim Reimers brought down the house as they imitated Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers while lip-syncing "Islands in the Stream."	Tom Hightower, accompanied on piano by Pat Hightower, played the ever-popular "Amazing Grace" on trumpet.
"Red, Red, Robin" was sung in perfect harmony by Heart Song singers Sharon Gardner, Fran Stroud, Sylvia Tate and Carol Gardner.
