Lenten Services and Soup Luncheons, 2009

The Reverend Bill Bailey and the Reverend Don Trent conducted the first Lenten service on Ash Wednesday, February 25. Retired ministers in the Kirk, the Reverends Don Trent, Victor Brown, Dave Nottrott, Ernie Smith and Dr. Heinrick Eiler each led a devotional the remaining Wednesdays during Lent. Following the services between 90 and 100 members gathered for fellowship in Hoffius Hall and enjoyed a lunch of homemade soup and bread provided by Kirk members.
