It was a sunny fall day. Inside Hoffius Hall, golden brown turkey,
surrounded by harvest bounty and autumn leaf garlands sat waiting
to be carved. Cloth-covered dining tables were dressed with coordinating
hand-made napkins, pumpkin centerpieces and fall decorations.
A delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings, served by Fellowship
committee members, was enjoyed by 133 diners. After everyone had
sated their appetite with pecan and pumpkin pie, the singing waiters,
most who also sing in the Kirk choir, led everyone in singing
praises of thanks.
