Super Salad Summer Supper, July 23, 2008

Vera Lloyd Presbyterian Home is changing lives. That was the message brought by Virginia Scott who travels across Arkansas and speaks about the home for children in Monticello, AR. Young people who come to Vera Lloyd are assigned by a judge, either through the Department of Human Services or through the Department of Youth Services. Here they find a nurturing environment to help them overcome past experiences. Pictured left to right are Dottie Isaacson, Moderator of the Kirk Mission Committee who sponsored the summer supper; Virginia Scott, guest speaker; and Virginia's cousin, Kirk member Ethelee Beverly, who introduced Virginia to the group.
