Kirk Summer Supper, Annual Congregational Meeting, August 27, 2008

Over 150 persons filled Hoffius Hall for dinner and the Kirk's annual congregational meeting on August 27. This final event of the summer was sponsored by the Kirk's Planning and Coordinating Committee assisted by the Administration Committee. A highlight of the evening was the election of Elders for the Class of 2011. Results of a recent congregational survey were also presented.
Tables were decorated in a "school days" theme, with school supplies arranged in creative centerpieces.	Pictured are Bebe Anderson and Bob Corwin, members of the Planning and Coordinating Committee, who coordinated the evening's activities.
Colorful slides, prepared by Dave Hamilton, showed bar graphs comparing results of a 2004 Kirk survey with 2008 survey results. Kirk members could see how progress occurred in many areas of church life.	Newly elected elders are pictured left to right: Dennis Zymboly, Mike Carpenter, Martha Fast, Joyce Leeming and Rich Croson. The Class of 2011 will be ordained and installed on Sunday, November 9.
