John
and Betty Peters chat with Pastor Bill Bailey
in the sanctuary after Sunday worship service. They moved
near the Village in 2008 and later joined the Kirk after visiting
several churches in the area. Betty is a nurse practitioner,
loves to sing and plays piano. John is a realtor and building
contractor, and enjoys woodworking and gardening. Both are
originally from Kansas.
Pastor
Bill Bailey (right) welcomed Terry and Earlene
Higgins to the Kirk family in April. Earlene, a native
of Tennessee, received a Master’s Degree in history
from Memphis State University. Terry, born in Scotland, immigrated
to Australia where he served in the Australian Army and with
the Australian Federal Police.
The Higgins moved to Hot Springs Village in 2007 from California.
