The Kirk will host a benefit piano concert for the Hot Springs Music Festival on Saturday, February 4th, at 12 o’clock noon, featuring Michael Gurt, piano; Peter Bay, narrator; Heather Thayer, horn; Jamie Lipton, euphonium; and Todd Cranson, tuba. The Festival provides education and performance opportunities for pre-professional apprentices from all over the world each spring in Hot Springs. Tickets are $10. – Students $5. Visa, Master Card, and Discover cards accepted. Please call the Festival office to reserve tickets: (501) 623-4763. Space permitting, tickets will be available at the door. Seating in the sanctuary begins at 11:15 a.m. Don’t miss this stellar event! ____________________________ Movie showing for our Faith and Film discussion series will be Sunday, February 12, at 3:00 p.m. in the Conference Room. This month’s film is the award winning movie “The Help” and the discussion group will meet on the following Wednesday, February 15 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to join us. There is no charge for attendance. Enter at the Palma Street office door. ____________________________ In bad weather the church will not open.
