Jim Adams – Finance Committee moderator Jim and his wife Sandy moved to the Village in August 2009, after living 63 years in California. They joined the Kirk in February of 2010 after attending a Lutheran church for 17 years. Jim was a Controller and CFO in both the private and public sectors for over 30 years. His last position, before becoming a self-employed consultant, was controller of a hauling site and landfill for Waste Management, Inc. Jim enjoys family, sports, gardening, traveling and music. This is Jim’s first term as an Elder at any church. Finance The finance committee prepares the annual budget, handles insurance matters, monitors the endowment program and continually works with committees to ensure they stay within financial guidelines established by Session.
