About Presbyterian Kirk In The Pines

Bill Naggs - Administration Committee Moderator
Born and raised a Presbyterian in Keokuk, Iowa, Bill Naggs earned his master’s degree from the University of Iowa as an actuary. He worked for an insurance company in St. Louis for nine years, then moved to Bettendorf, Iowa, where he was the Chief Actuary for Modern Woodmen of America for 22 years. Following that, he had his own consulting business for 15 years.

Bill became a deacon many years ago in St. Louis and served as an elder and treasurer in the Bettendorf church. When he had his wife Ruth moved to Hot Springs Village in 2004, they soon found the Kirk and resumed their participation in church activities. Bill has served on the Finance, Administration, and Stewardship committees. He and Ruth also serve as leaders of Shepherd Group 3

Administration
A smooth-running organization means a strong administrative team working behind the scenes. The Kirk's Administration Committee oversees the church administration, selects, manages and reviews staff and pastors and is responsible for keeping up the policies and procedures that govern the Kirk. The retired business professionals who make up this hardworking committee bring a wealth of experience to assure the efficient operation of the Kirk.
